Kari and Lance

Truth be told, I was a bit alarmed when I was first contacted by Kari. Her email stated that her wedding might be featured on Bridezilla's...but not to worry because she was not one herself...she promised. While most people would consider that to be a red flag, I have to admit that I was intrigued to meet her. Thankfully she was Bridezilla in fact, quite the contrary. She and Lance were nothing but lovely.

I truly enjoyed getting to know them. During our meeting, I learned that Kari and her grandfather share a very special relationship and bond. It was endearing to hear her wonderful stories and to see her eyes brighten when she spoke of him. Another sweet moment I witnessed between both Kari and Lance was the way they both looked at one another...with admiration and love. Meeting couples like this is such a treat for me.

Kari and Lance both work in the music industry. One of the greatest moments during the reception was when Kari unexpectantly sang "A Natural Woman" while playing the piano. WOW! We were all left speechless with chills and tears in our eyes...a brilliant performance. Another great moment and wonderful treat to us all was when her dear friend and songwriter, Jeff Silbar, sang his original lyrics to "Wind Beneath My Wings".

All-in-all, the celebration was a success...from the Frank Sinatra tribute band to all of Lance and Kari's lovely guests. Jennifer Daigle and I were honored to have been a part of their special day!

Ely and John...Married!

Newlyweds Ely and John tied the knot at the beautiful Neighborhood Church located in Palos Verdes. The grounds were lush with greenery and ocean views. The celebration followed at The Portofino Hotel and Yacht Club in Redondo Beach. Ely's colors were vibrant with hot pink hues. I especially liked the guestcards...they were atop a shot glass of sorts filled with M&M's and other chocolates...yum!

Best Wishes to the Lovely Couple! Thank you for making Jennifer and I feel so welcome. It was a pleasure working with you.
