Nautica Malibu Triathlon

I covered yet another wonderful event for Children's Hospital of Los Angeles. The Nautica Malibu Triathlon "brought together professional athletes, celebrities and triathlon enthusiasts to test their strength and stamina." A portion of the proceeds were donated to the Children's Hospital Pediatric Cancer Research Program. I arrived at 4am to beat the traffic and the supposed close-off of Pacific Coast Highway. Wow, what a day. I could barely walk in the sand with equipment in hand, let alone perform any kind of physical activities that took place during this triathlon. These people are truly amazing! Makes me feel like I need to get my behind in the gym pronto!

Ashley and Jeremy's Wedding

Congratulations to Ashley and Jeremy on their most recent accomplishment...tying the knot! They had a lovely ceremony at Beatitudes of Our Lord Catholic Community Church in La Mirada. Ashley shed a few tears, and laughed equally as hard. She is the bride that has the most infectious laugh, if you remember from their engagement session at South Coast Vineyard in Temecula. Their celebration took place at Black Gold Golf Club in Yorba Linda. While it was a scorching hot afternoon, we had fun being escorted by golf cart around the grounds during their portrait segment. Our driver made sure that we had an adventure. One thing that I absolutely love about Ashley and Jeremy is that they are the most laid back couple, easy to work with, and just really beautiful people inside and out, including both sets of their families. I think that was more than one thing...oops! Oh well, I can't say enough good things about them. These are just some of my favorites from their BIG day.
