Kari and Lance

Truth be told, I was a bit alarmed when I was first contacted by Kari. Her email stated that her wedding might be featured on Bridezilla's...but not to worry because she was not one herself...she promised. While most people would consider that to be a red flag, I have to admit that I was intrigued to meet her. Thankfully she was correct..no Bridezilla in sight...in fact, quite the contrary. She and Lance were nothing but lovely.

I truly enjoyed getting to know them. During our meeting, I learned that Kari and her grandfather share a very special relationship and bond. It was endearing to hear her wonderful stories and to see her eyes brighten when she spoke of him. Another sweet moment I witnessed between both Kari and Lance was the way they both looked at one another...with admiration and love. Meeting couples like this is such a treat for me.

Kari and Lance both work in the music industry. One of the greatest moments during the reception was when Kari unexpectantly sang "A Natural Woman" while playing the piano. WOW! We were all left speechless with chills and tears in our eyes...a brilliant performance. Another great moment and wonderful treat to us all was when her dear friend and songwriter, Jeff Silbar, sang his original lyrics to "Wind Beneath My Wings".

All-in-all, the celebration was a success...from the Frank Sinatra tribute band to all of Lance and Kari's lovely guests. Jennifer Daigle and I were honored to have been a part of their special day!
